Get that bloody brick out from under the door and get some rugs under there!!!!!!

That was one monumental paint job on the filler cap panel!

Let me know if you're unsure of how a Mk3 Fiesta goes together, I know this is your first :)

Hopefully you realised my offer of advice was a minor gag ;)

I'm well thanks. The Mk3 is still tucked away, and comes out about once every three weeks for a cheeky blast while I decide what to do with it. I would dearly love to attend all the shows next year, we will see how much spare time I'm left with :) I would also enjoy having a car to compete in at TOTB, but can see that being a 2009 campaign. Does this mean you'll be making FITP '08? :o

i know its been a while scince the last up date been tied up sorting various problems with the house

maged to get some work done this weekend cut out and replaced the rotten metal on the inner quarter panel welded all that up the primred it managed to get the quarter panel cut lined up and 90% welded welded on

just sprayed some zinc weld through and satin black on to protect the metal while it sits rouned waiting for me to get back to it

Image

Image

another reason for the grey is its hard to judge a gap on a black panel so lighter colour is used in order to see it cearly all wipes off with panel wipe which is handy :P

Image

nicely plug welded as no spot welder :(
Image

and just enougth time to get the wing half choped off

Image

Looking good mate, certainly looks different from when i last saw the car. Hope it's finished soon or you make some room next to yours for mine, the rush to be ready for the summer is on and i think this may be the first year or even moment in time lol that we both have working turbos. Also is that Ford racing sticker on your welder the one off the side of my old rally car?

Cheers Chris :)
