What could i do to my 1.3 1991 (non fuel injection) to spruce up the power. I have a powerflow exhaust (full through), and a piper cross air filter. Also ive ordered a set of omp shocks, any one know what three like. I got them for my 17' alloys cause me uncle said that the fiesta shocks cant handle the size, will these make the drive a bit smother????. They are ajustable (that is what the sales man said)??????
If you know anyone from Ireland selling either a frst, or frst engine let me know +353868436316

Contact Demon Tweeks and speak to them about a Cam kit and uprated carburretor for your engine - fitting the 1.6 carb from a Mk1 XR-poo is possible, but note that over fuelling will eventually result in bore-wash, where the excess fuel strips the bores of oil, reducing lubrication and accelerating engine wear.
Alternatively, you could add twin carbs to the engine, but you will lose a lot of fuel economy, run an even higher risk of bore wash, and it may well be more trouble than it's worth.
Finally, you could always teach yourself to build a gearbox and fit a shorter 1st, 2nd and 3rd, medium 4th and long 5th, giving good acceleration and good M-way cruising.
