Any Vibe Amplifier Owners?

Postby abbasar2000 on Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:19 am

I did try to post in audio section but kept saying page cannot be displayed..?

Ive got the vibe monoblock/box amplifier, brushed aliminium colour it works fine but i every now and again if a wire comes out of it obviously the amp will stop working, so i put the said wire back in, usually the earth that comes out as i need to fit a longer one, but when i put the the wire back in, there is no life in the amp, if i touch the earth onto the amp usually get a smal spark, nothing, same with power, nothing.. check all fuses fine, check another amp and it works, my amp seems to just go dead, sometimes it will come back on within a day, last time it did it it wouldnt come on for nearly 2 weeks, i got in the car and it started working again :S ... the earth came out last night, and yes no life in it... just wondering if theres a reset button or way of resetting it asi dont have the manual anymore..

why not just get a longer wire, sounds lik your going to f**k it doing that, if something has a bad earth its going to get hot.
my bro had a old vibe amp and that was cutting out, someone told me you need a volts and its best to have a power cap on then as your volts on your car will be up and down when you have your lights, heater and music turned up. might be wrong, but i would start with the earth.
