Run the 6x9's straight off the head unit and get a mono block to run the sub.

I run with no rear speakers at all in the back of my Escort and Audi. The Fiesta has 6x9's but they are usually faded right out.

When at a concert you stand facing the stage. Good SQ is ruined by 6x9's you will gain volume not nice sound. It really depends on what you want from your system. Are your front speakers amped?
