Mine did 7.07 secs at fordfair last year.
4-2-1 manifold, De-cat, Magnex system, 2.0l MAF and Throttle Body, Chip, Cold air feed and aLSD to help it all get down. Plus its stripped out too which helps alot

I got 7.7 at sylverstone in k reg rs1800i mats, boot carpet, spare wheel and holder removed. 26psi ront tyres 34psi rears no burn out.three gallons of petrol I weighed 9 1/2 stone clothed then. The car seemed standard apart from had 5 spoke xr2 alloys. I found out after joining this site the engine had been blueprinted true or not I dont know. best revs for change seemed to be 6600rpm and on flat shift would exceed 7000rpm hit 137mph in 5th at 6900rpm. slowly kicking a gold gti's arse
how much bhp would blue print add ? on standard intake and exhaust

damn 7secs thats fiesta st territory. ratspeed wot manifold you got? ive heard the 2.0l throttle body is the same as the 1.8?
also what chip you got on it?
ive thought about a LSD on mine, like a turbo gearbox, just sourcing a resonably priced one
thats not a bad idea, taking the spare wheel out, does all the carpet and mats really weigh that much? lol. well im 12.5 stone, looks like i should lose a bit of weight lol

Re: anyone got over 150bhp or under 8 sec 0-60mph
boot carpet and mates prob added about 1kg lol. only takes a second to whip them out.
I dont think an LSD would make that much differnce the fiestas not as long or heavey as the escort so theirs less weight and force to hall of the line. I had no problems lauching my rs. A decent set of rubbers is a much better aid. THE RS has a good balence and even the escort rs 2000 doesnt need lsd at 150hp. if you wher to go 180 then it would become a valable comodaty, to help with touq steer and of line acceleration in the dry. it will how ever damage your tuning abillity at any bhp. rubbers first they also aid steering and brakeing

not sure about the throttle body mate , the 421 is a trust stainless jobbie and its a collins chip. The LSD is out of the S2 but bolted in the zetec box. And as above, tyres will help

yea i reckon the dyno will be the first step, it has pretty good rubber on it, i didnt get much wheel spin off the line. had a great launch, and shifted at the right time. i had the parcel shelf out aswell and thats pretty heavy lol.
well i dont get much torque steer but i need a decent clutch and a stronger 'box and as im on my third now
does smo have have that street sleeper fez? just looks like a standard white fezza? yeah that would be intreresting to know what he running.

Re: anyone got over 150bhp or under 8 sec 0-60mph
My 7.55 - Nothing amazing, but did get a 7.20 earlier in the day too...
At that stage, it was a 1.8 105 engine, with 2.0 cams, 2.0 TB, 130PS ECU and a K&N panel filter. It's also got a 4-2-1 manifold and no cat. Rest of the exhaust system is completely standard. So if you compare that to Ratspeed's RS1800, it's not bad going considering his is chipped and has a better flowing exhaust system too!(I think) Although by no means am I knocking his car!
I did take out the back seats, parcel shelf and removed the spare wheel and tray too.
I don't know what sort of power it's running, though. Only had it on a rolling road once, and that was with the Ford exhaust manifold and cat, where it made 129.0 and 131.9BHP - Although most figures that day seemed a tiny bit high!
I don't race cars, however I've had a couple of Fiesta STs try and seemingly struggle to keep up - although that's not to say they were being driven as hard as I was driving mine
It's a tiny bit quicker now than what it was back then, but I've got a lot more to come

Is this thread only relevant for 1.8 zetecs, or are you asking about 2.0's too?
My 2.0 xr2i did 0-60 in under 7 seconds and was a standard engine. Im pretty sure my rs1800 is just as quick.

Re: anyone got over 150bhp or under 8 sec 0-60mph
nah 2.0l would be good to know about, similar engines really, did you not even have an air filter? because thats a pretty good time, almost unbelievable when you consider an ST focus runs just under 7's 0-60mph.
smo i think i might take the spare wheel out and they tray because they weigh a ton, but then at the mo my back seats are out and they arent exactly heavy, my parcel shelf was but that was out when i done the run. so the weird thing is your bhp is roughly the same as mine, probably a bit more. what 4-2-1 manifold you got? i want to buy one but dont want to get an ashley one becuase they are mild steel. what you got planned for the engine then lol im intregued now.
