...a rough price on having a 1.6 RS Turbo lump transfered to a Mk3 1.1.

WHEN I get this done, will I insure the car as a RS TURBO ? or a 1.1 with engine mod's :devil:

Any 18yr olds with 7/8 months driving no convictions or anything for TPF&T got a RS TURBO ? how much you paying for insurance and who with plz...

Also where can i get a bolt-on filter by K&N for a 1.1 Mk3 ?

You would insure it as a 1.1 with an engine change to RS Turbo. You might find this MORE expensive than actually owning a RSTurbo though (that is if you can get insurance at all)

Expect to pay £1500+ with TPF&T and a huge excess

As for the filter do a quick search for K&N on google. You should get plenty of options

well im 20 mate with nearly 3 years no claims and no points. l'd be looking at around a grand for insurance on a FRST, thats a quote i got from a big insurance group. Last year i got quoted £1100 for an xr2i (which i have now). But it would be VERY expensive for a guy ur age to own a car like FRST, thats if u could even get insurance unfortunately.

ull find it hard to find insurance with prices under 1500 and u gotta put down a huge excess,
