Anyone suggest a way to get around this....

Getting quotes from elephant as a named driver with a parent as a policy holder. So anyway, if I tick the box stating "I drive another vehicle regularly" I get a quote of about £900, however if not I ring up and they won't even quote me :(

My friend drives a van for work therefore gets very cheap quotes, however I don't drive another vehicle, and obviously I don't want to lie, however is there perhaps a way of bending the rules :D

Cheers anyone that helps :)

I think by saying you drive another vehicle regularly they are taking presuming you are more experienced. So yeah best not to lie, can't think of a way to bend the rules either.

I'm pretty happy with my cover from Quinn-direct - I'm guessing your a new driver, what car is it?

I'm paying £1200 for a 1.1 in my own name, 0NCB and have held full licence since just saturday, however my policy gives me third party on any car as long as i have permission from the the owner, i also think they only care about performance mods.

I've been driving for around 11 months, i'm off to uni in sept 2007, so I am getting a car for a year to have some fun in, therefore its a 1.8 Clio RSI. Also due to going to uni i'm not going to get insurance in my own name till I finish, as I wont be using a car whilst at uni. Cheapest I have got is a quote for £1400 as a named driver, which I thought was reasonable on an insurance group 11 car.
