I heard that about you
You can install it on more than one device too (so long as your google account is attached to both). Nice if you have a phone and a tablet.

Not bad. Paid £20 something for it on my phone. Works very well considering how cheap it is!
Only problem is my car charger doesn't supply enough current to charge the phone and run the GPS, so the battery still runs out after a while.

I've also had this problem before, I use a Nokia charger with my Samsung which delivers a significant amount of current, enough to charge it while in use

I've used Co Pilot quite a bit, was really good in America on my Desire last year, brilliant for finding McDonald's restaurants that were 100 yards closer than the previous ones we'd visited

If you've got a poor signal or like when I've been in another country it's good to have the maps on the phone to save waiting on slow downloading or save on international data charges!
If you're in well built-up areas it's fine, but I find a lot of places out in the sticks barely give me a signal let alone a poor one

International data charges are as much as £3 per mb. It's quite easy to run through 100-150mb over a fortnight!

SimonT :Why bother when google nav does a perfect job.
Google nav needs a data connection that can download maps fast enough to keep up with the car... Not much use if you're out in the countryside somewhere with 1 bar of GSM only.

Exactly my point! It's so painful, I usually give up and just try and find my own way
