ARBs and drop links

Postby XR2iT on Tue Mar 04, 2003 9:29 am

I haven't got round to experimenting yet so perhaps someone else has. what difference does disconnecting the ARBs make to the handling? I know some cars handle better in the wet with ARBs disconnected. What is the story with Mk3 Fiestas.
Also the drop links on my car have seen better days. How critical are the rubbers on them?

The drop links in my opinion are quite important as they have an effect on the handling. l had dodgy handling on my 2i so went to get the wheels balanced and tracked. That didnt do any good so i changed the wishbones. Still no good so i changed the drop links and WAHEY it worked!!
