Re: arches
slaney21 :the whole suspension kit only covered 200 miles before i bought em so were all pretty much new. It only scrapes when i go down dips to quick or hit potholes fast etc... mates cut some more of the arch out and its a little bit better now. Just going to have to live with a little scrape here and there. fitted a rear strut brace yesterday and got the front one to fit when my mates got the time.
i didnt think 205/40/16 would fit a 15" alloy
lol sorry bud i think i confussled you, 205/40/16's wont fit 15's you would have to get 205/35or40/15 to fit your car.
do you have a standard anti roll bar fitted and drop link arms?as that could also help!!
mine scrapes when i go down dips or potholes yea and my exhaust hits the deck but oh well!! the worryin thing if my car is half the height of a kerb so id have no chance gettin up the kerb if i really had to but oh well you sacrifice these things, i think the only thing i can recconmend to you know mate is just learn to take it steady and read the road before you get to it!!!!lol

Re: arches
yeah im just going to take it easy on parts of the road i know and go slow over speed bumps as my exhaust catches as well as the arches
the anti roll bar is all standard. everything on the car apart from the strut brace, koni suspension, stainless zorst and alloys is all standard.

Re: arches
sorry, just for info the 195/45/15 are the lowest manufactured profile for 15" wheels, 40 profiles for 16 & 17 and 35s etc on 18 or bigger i mean without going wider as obviously the sidewall height is effected by width. so as said 195/40/15 is the lowest profile 15 available

Re: arches
also if you take the wheel off and look at the arch from underneath can you see any marking anywhere? like black marking on the front bumper etc?

Re: arches
i had the same problem with my 15's, with 195/45/15
i had to roll mine, then take the inner arche out, then roll it again.then cut a tiny bit of the xr2i arche kit bit,cut it level with the rolled metal arche and that was the end of that rubbing
