Are all mk3 and m3.5 lower arms the same?
Ive got a N-reg 1995 and i want to use the lower arms off my old fiesta rs turbo mk3 1991? They look the same?

Not sure on them ones youve got, but I got some for my MK3.5 and they werent the same as the ones we were replacing with, and made it handle crap, had to take them back and demand refunds

Just been on the phone to ford and they might not be the same as the frst's as for the power steering £61 each

Im after gen one's as the will last longer this car had new one's in 2006 only 15k and now there fooked

tbh I haven't had much issue with pattern ones. I've had some on my Escort for the past 18 months (about 12k) and they're still ok now...
another option I suppose is to get the ones on there (or some new pattern ones) fitted with polybushes?

Ball joint on the end is different...
The early mk3 ones are one diamter top and bottom(either side of where the bolt slots through to clamp the hub around.
The later ones mk3.5 are smaller on the top and same on the bottom.
They wont clamp up proerply on mk3 hubs...
if you have mk3.5hubs/mk4 then you can have the hub drilled out to accept the mk3 lower arm, but not the other way around.
