Got a smokin T2 (literally...anti speed camera fog style), and been offered a T2 from a Nissan Sylvia - any good?

If not, how much for a recon these days? (No play in the spindle to speak of, just seals needed)

From a person who has never actually done this himself, so take my words with a bucket of salt, I think you might find that it's cheaper to do a T3 conversion on your engine.

If the T2 fits, by the way, wear it I expect the difference, if any, would lie in the pipe connections, but you should find out if it's water cooled or just oil cooled.

Recon standard T2s are around £550ish - recon T3s are around £350ish I think. That £200 you save could be used to finish off the conversion.
