Are drum brake back plates still made?

Problem or technical question?

Are drum brake back plates still made?

Postby Ruaraidh on Wed Apr 30, 2014 10:56 am

Hi folks,

Rebuilding my new rear axle for the rally car just now, its an RS turbo one with an anti roll bar as my xr2i doesn't currently have one.

I'm just wondering is there anywhere that produces the rear drum back plates? Both of the ones on this one were quite corroded.

Many thanks!

p.s. we run 13" wheels for the gravel tyres so I believe converting to rear discs is out of the question sadly!
