you can use the xr block but you have to machine a hole in it for the oil return
the turbo has different pistons, crank, inlet valves cam etc...

So i can use a xr block then , but i'll have to get the oil return bored out a little then ?

Thats ok , i've got all the other parts off a turbo, i.e head pistons crank etc.
I'm putting it in my fezzy 2i after xmas.

is there anything else i will need to know about this ?

if you are putting it in an xr2i and use the turbo efi loom then you`ll need an asdditional hole for the crank sensor(30mm diameter)
