Are FLI audio any good?

Postby djnathand on Sun Jun 29, 2008 6:57 pm

Hey people! I'm looking to get some sounds in my car but don't have a very big budget, most bits will be bought bit by bit, as and when I can afford it.

I've never actually seen or heard any of it in action, just wondering what people's thoughts are?

I wanna get a sub and amp package or maybe an active unit, speakers for the rear (wanna avoid 6x9's really but we'll see), and possibly some new components up front to replace the JBL bits I have.

I'm not looking for show car standards, but as a DJ / Producer I have an ear for quality so I need to buy the best I can afford. As FLI are relative cheap and made by Vibe I thought maybe they'd be pretty good?

Cheers for any help!

That can't be a good thing? Do you deal with ICE then? If so, what would you recommend to somebody on a small budget? I was looking at Fusion aswell, they seem to be reputable?

Them FLI Traps are not good at all, heard a few of them and theyre more for looks imo.
on a small budget id just stick with kenwood they seem to be cheap at the moment.

i dno mate, i seem to find em more for chives on a budget, nah i dnt really 'deal ' in ice, just work with it.

tbh, if you get the right amp / sub set up you can t go wrong, how much you got to spend?

currently we got a 12" bub/amp and wiring kit, all in , for a ton, and ive heard it properly set up and i gta say i was impressed.

although, if i were you, id wait a month or so, save up the extra 50 qiud and get the 10" active vibe sub...its quality, and will last for your next car etc etc, ive heard it in at least 5 cars, filled em all up with baaaassssssss!!!

10 if more punchy, 12 holds the low notes better, not a huge difference in price between em ... vibe ftw!
