Re: are si rs and rs1800 pads all the same
The following all take the same pads (eg Ferodo Premier FDB206)
1.6 XR2i, 1.6S, RS Turbo, 04/89->03/92
1.6 Si 16V, 1992->1995
16v2i, RS1800, 1992->1995
Disks should be the same 240mm, think there is a choice of two (something to do with the little star washers)

Oh right yeah! Cause the wheel doesn't do that anyway does it!
Think of all the weight to save leaving them off as well.

They are Lock Washers, you may find one fitted to one of the wheel studs they're supposed to keep the disk secure! and you should remove them if you have alloys fitted cos they won’t clamp up to the disc properly!

Absolutely. I always take a piss before driving just so I can save on weight.
