are side repeaters compulsery?

does anyone know wether side repeaters are compulsery in order to pass an mot?? i was going to buy some clear ones, but i thaught it will look miles smoother if there was none at all. MOT experts please reply!!

If the car origionaly came fitted with then, yes, if not no....

if u say... fill in the hole on the wing and shift em to teh wingmirrors then u should be ok.. but if u take me out totallyy then u will fail i imagine... u need a way to show from the side, that u are indicating

:lol: lol at Phil not very good i suppose ah well what about gettin some of those new merc stylee wing mirrors with built in side repeaters? Bit pricey but worth it.

Again, depends on your MOT station. Awkward ones will fail you for not having them on cars that had them fitted originally. You need to be able to see the indicator flashing from both the front, back and side of the car.
Mirror mounted ones are one option. Another is to fit a Cossie bumper and blag that the indicators are (just) visible from the side.... :grin:

Yer dey are def needed for a MOT i dunno if u ave seen it but u can get them sprayed body colour dat lookz cool!! But make sure dey flash orange!!
