Ashes To Ashes... oops...
Very much enjoyed the series and tonight's finale but this was spotted by one of my eagle-eyed colleagues...

Haha, you would have thought the producer would have noticed, unless it was his car or something lol

Re: Ashes To Ashes... oops...
There's loads of misplaced stuff in it actually, if you watch carefully.
For example in one scene they're hiding behind a Maestro Van, despite them being in 1981/82 and that not being released until 1984 (in-fact it's got the stereotypical diesel stain down the side, so 1986).
You also quite often see things like modern parking meters, road signs, BT boxes, stuff they can't change. I'm pretty sure I've seen the congestion charge markings as well.

You know, if I knew that much about the production dates of the Austin Maestro van, I'm not sure I'd own up to it on an internet forum...

Re: Ashes To Ashes... oops...
that's a great spot.
The film 'The history boys' was filmed at my old secondary school, based in the early 80s but filmed in 2006. It was amazing to see them walking down our old corridors in Watford only for the door at the end to pan out to the yorkshire dales but the best bit...is seeing our (not so) new white LDV mini bus cruise past in the background of one of the shots, FAIL!

Re: Ashes To Ashes... oops...
That's not really the same. They've painted it black to hide it and it's barely noticeable watching the film. Most people wouldn't even see it, let alone know what it was.
Not quite like a Rover 600 parked up in 1982.
