audio installation should i insure it???????

hi got a full audio installation ive got infinity front speakers £100 infinity 6x9s £100 kicker sub and 1000w kenwood amp stands me at about £500 is it worth insuring it on my car insurance how much is it to do? or leave it cheers

Probably not for a £500 system as they will increase your premium and almost certainly hike your excess. The insurers are almost as bad for robbing you as the pikey arseholes :x

alot of insurance companies will cover you £500 standard for audio. just ask them about it.

Read the smallprint and it will usually state original equipment only :(

some insurance companies allow extra to coverr navigation etc. Does sound right though what you said, although my tescos policy coverd £1000 worth as standard.
