Maybe the fact there are HUGE signs saying COMPLETION SPRING 2009 means they are doen with roadworks so dont need cameras anymore

They still have them on the A2 leading up the m25, same roadworks project.

They were for the roadworks. They've taken the ones on the M1 down as well.

I think it's a shame, I enjoyed laughing at people who fail to understand what "average" means and still insisted on slamming on the brakes as they passed them, then floored it off up the road again.

Yea people really are stupid lol!

I thought they was still there? Last time i went round the m25 which was a few months ago they seemed to be there.

I always seemd to spot them on the back of the big over head signs.

The average cameras on the M25 from Jct 4-3 to Jct 1 were only there for the 50mph speed restrictions while they were adding an extra lane. Since the work has been finished - as Hobomassiv said, the huge signs saying that the work was completed - the cameras have been removed.

Yeah they are definately gone, they need to get off their asses and remove the ones on the a2, they finished the new section months ago but somehow we have to do 50mph on it still.

Its all well and good adidng an extra lane but it wont stop the 70% of muppet drivers with an i.q <100 now camping in lane 3 instead of 2, i swear as soon as im on the m25 i cant help but to undertake left right and center, i drive the m20 and m2 nearly daily and never experience such tards.

They have them on the A127 into southend where the speed is set at 70 for part of them then goes down to 50 for the other part. HAving to go that way everyday its made the road far more dangerous as people see them and decide to slam their brakes on

Totally agree. There was quite a tail back at a130 london bond the other morning. The amount of people that suddenly slow down after the nation sing when they see theirs more camera;s in the 70mph zone or swerve into the layby. cutting from outside lane noticed a lot of tail gaters to near neverdon london bound.
