well i bet most of you thought this was dead . it certenly isnt

birth of my son etc

made a little progress but as most parts had been stored in a leaky garage it got damaged, mainly the gaskets

first up my local motor factor is a star they let me draw round a gasket from a new pump. no where but ford sold the gaskets separate, not paying £12 ish for a bit of paper.

Image

pump fitted

Image

new inlet gaskets

Image

new looking maf and throttle body and box of hoses and bits

Image
Image

finally some more of the wiring re-taped

Image
Image
Image

ordered all stainless steal fixings which should be here tomorrow, also changing the colour of the cam cover and sump.

Liking the fuel line, Andy!

I assume it's all rated for high pressure unleaded/biofuel?

Does the alternator not use the bracket as its earth route? Or have you still got unpainted areas of the bracket where it mounts to the block and alternator? Just looked like you'd painted the entire thing from the photos! :)
