Ive just read the thread from start to finish. I love the way you have transformed it into what it is now. How does it go now with the new engine?

:) its quick, had it on rolling road not so long back, 145 BHP standard with cone filter and a broken exhaust.

the bonnet needs rubbing back a little but its better with the temps

got hold of a magnex system cheap, took me nearly a week to get back box and mid section apart

here it is, just needs fitting but weather stopped me,

Image

out with the old

Image

Maf, cheapo filter and duct tape

in with the new maf, propper K&N and breather pipe going to where it should be

Image

managed to stretch the original rubber pipe over the maf, took some doing

Enjoy

its quieter than my standard system was, but when you hit 4k revs it growls at you,

it actually gives me an extra 20 miles to a tenner now with the k and n fitted

I had 240mm brakes on my 2.0. They are fine. A 2.0 is only the same power as an rs1800, and they have 240mm brakes
