I'm sure you'l get there soon buddy. Gotta tax my mondy and insure both naxt week lol. Also need a new crank pulley for mondy at £80 odd and bottom arm on the focus as ball joint is f**cked.

nice to see my old inlet go to use mate
taken her for a spin to see the difference?
when i went from 1.6 to H.O i saw much more torque in the mid range, was lovely, im still on a 1.6 injector rail atm though, have a 1.8 one waiting to be fitted
i need my tacking done and two new tyres/part worns
im eating them atm! seriously, two gone ont he shaulder in less than a month from about 3mm, can see the inner threads!

hi, i'm lucky now with the lower arms tires arnt a problem, yeah you can notice a differance, need the ho tho, will see what happens on payday

before rewire im going to investigate the engine loom as something is bugging me to check it first
the revs dropping off problem hasnt always been there so i dunno whats happening till march when ive got time to work on it

not really a productive day , battery was flat , but on a plus note ive found a mint g reg mk3 in scrap yard with most parts stripped and i can get the skittle for a tenner along with the wings if i work some magic lol

haha reminds me of lego when i was younger, always so easy and fun ripping it apart after making it

poor XR's seem to rot the worst, someones bodged up the rear arch with filler too, looks liek it needs a new lip
and the front valance/scuttle is going to be a swine to sort
you picked a bad time to start this, show season is about to start!!
good luck mate its all repairable, just going to be time consuming

i knew it wouldnt be ready for this season. lol
the scuttle will be fine lol , njust time consuming to drill out about 20 spot welds
there is lots of filler , most of the rear arch is made of it,

my old mk4 was rusting a bit around the right of the scuttle, used to scare me thinking of repairing it
time consuming, as you can see in the pic of the old scuttle there was about 20 spot welds to remove along with trying to free it from the re-enforcer in the corner and the bottom of the a pillar.
which i have to rebuild and part of the lip on the bottom edge.
