ended up getting the wrong cable (yoke and no adjusters) , so back it went , got right one this time
new cable has the correct end and adjuster
here we go, hub fitted
caliper fitted
line fitted , i ordered the custom made one but it looks like if you have a lowered car the originql one may reach from the car to the caliper

looking good
if that braided line has a fair amount of slack, but as you say because its lowered, leave it on mate, mine failed the MOT due to when the car being raised on jacks the lines got to tight on the rear, and if it ever has its standard suspension put back on your gonna have issues

the single long pipe i thought would have caught my wheels, this way i can tie it back

well if it helps, the mk4/5's are as toby suggested, theyre chassis to hub lines, no rubbing issues

little update
drivers side on and handbrake cable fitted, feels quite sharp
system needs bleeding but bat is dead so cant create a vacum
had to replace this part of the copper pipe as it wouldny come undone from the flexi
body kit back on on pass side

got new tyre's on alloy 195 / 45 / 15 and a 14" steelie with a 185 / 50 / 14 tire
bled brakes , secured the cable, fixed the fog light ....... booked mot tomoz at 4pm so got time to clean it before

i find that brakes and clutches sometimes need bleeding twice to be perfect

Yea you could ahve just had a bubble or two stuck in the master cylinder or something. I had to bleed mine twice last time to get it right

need to fit a mondeo master cylinder to componsate for the double sized front calipers and the 3/4 times larger rears, compared to the drums
