Do back boxes add any bhp to the old SI? Or do they just make a fair loud noise!?

Whats best back box around for me SI? Ive seen loads in MAx Power etc
like Rage 4" back boxes n stuff.

Im on a tight budget :(((((

sorry mate, a back box isnt going to release much bhp, full system can release a few bhp but nothing major, its the starting point for other power mods, chips cams etc.
