bad earth?
wired my headunit up yesterday and i thought all was fine until it went dark.
turned my sidelights on aswell as the h/u and my dash, headlights and gauges started to flicker. the rev counter was also shaking, thought it must of been a bad earth so i independantly earthed the h/u and the same happened again. so no im stumped as to what it could be thats causing the problem
any help would be great as I cant live with my tunes for too long

Does it have the sidelights wired into the radio so that when you switch on your headlights, the radio front dims down so Its not so bright for night use?
If it does I'd discnnect this and go from there... if this fixes it then find out why its doing it.

If you disconnect the radio.. does it still do it?
Have you tried disconnecting the ignition live and seeing if it still does it?
