Battery Relocation....... to the boot

has anybody done it on here if so i would love to have so info into doing this please :)

well tiller firstly i love ur car its the nicest black fiesta ive ever seen snd secondly its fairly easy connect the black wire to the body work for earth and then run a red wire with 4 gauge wire and mount a blaock for connecting the wires via a fuse

then buy a sealed battery either fom caraudiosecurity or halfords as they can order u ine if none in stock well anywho pm me just at work 07738913381 halfords rule

Or get a batery box and vent that to atmosphere as it may be a cheaper option.

Was when my mate did it in his FRST and it was only marginally more dificult when we did it to my mates old Subaru

I would run the earth lead down too tho. It depends on the bodywork for a good earth. In my experience it isnt as good over time and can cause prob starting.

My mgbgt runs like that and ive had to run an earth down to sort it properly.

The Earth cable should be as short as possible and to a point near the battery. Exteding the Earth cable to run the length of teh car is not the way to do this.
