personaly i would ask my tuner which one he would recomend for my engine spec.
A cam that works well in one engine can be horrible in another.

I beleive there are subtle differences between the lift and the duration on the two cams. Ian Howell at Area Six will be the best man to speak to he explained it to me a few years ago

The 285T2 is s**t. Try the 35 and the T2 back to back and you will file the T2 in the bin. In fact I know somebody who did just that with a 500 mile old T2

Most people including my tuner (NMS) say the Piper T2 is crap but after setting my car up he reckons it works fantastic in mine and is the best driving RST he had driven!
So like i say engine spec will determin whats best for you.

Piper t2 and kent 34 & 35 are good cams but are old skool, i run a 36 in mine and it the best of the 3 and i've used all 3 kents in my fiesta and a 285T2 in my old efi turbo orion.

If you want the best cam for a cvh on the market at the moment is a newman camshaft with solid lifters :D

Not particularly just go on the system of 9 - e.g if 2 down set 7 and so on.

http://www.newman-cams.com/pdf/ford.pdf

£110 = cam
£128 = solid lifters
£45 = double valve srings 200Ib
£18 = fitting tool

total = £301
