Is that the sort of bleed valve that only fools the actuator and not the ecu,
so that the overboost protection (if set on the chip) still works ?

Or in other words, so the ECU knows it's running more boost, and adapts the fueling like it should...

Joris,
The standard chip will retard the fueling etc.. if you dont use a chip.
The bleedvalve only fools the actuator, but not the ECU, so a chip is needed to by-pass the over boost protection.

cheers

Indeed mate - it is welded in the pipe

ooooppss - sos bassboy, I think that question was for you - lol.

Sunny.
Do you have any idea what 178.8mph feels like in a Fiesta? 2000 lb of pressure per square inch per second pushing back on your face. It feels like god himself is trying to rip the skin off your skull while someone lands a 747 on your chest.

frankiew - Nope, havn't recieved any mails mate. Also welding isn't the only way mate however it's far better and professional in my opinion especially if your running alot of boost.

The Bruster - HKS Super Sequential Indeed mate - best dump valve if you got the money.
