best engine change for a 1.1

hey guys what wud b the best/easiest engine change to fit in a 1.1, any sugestions :rolleyes:

More info required????

How old are you?
How much no claims?
What do you want from the car?
How much money do you want to blow?

The best engine would be an all singing 2,1 Zetec Turbo running on something like Autronic but don't expect much change from £8k.

Insurance will be the biggest hurdle and in all honesty you would do better to look at selling your 1.1 and just buying a car with a bigger engine. It often works out cheaper to insure than a car with an engine swap

yeh thts a very gd point :rolleyes: wud only consider the change after a few more years, bt yeh i can imagine the insurance company asking engine power, yeh would prob b easier just to buy new car lol, bt hey once my no claims has gone up a bit iv gota get a 2 litre fiesta :D

Get yourself a 1.6Si then as they seem to be the easiest base car to do the 2.litre from and oddly will be cheaper to insure than an XR2i or RS1800 with the same engine. Wierd or what?
