Whats best for RS1800 and gives best gains?

Im thinking of getting a custom built one so you can choose how quiet you want it as i am after a VERY QUIET one

If you want a custom one by all means get one made but i know i'd recommend going the Magnex route. Really depends on whether or not you are looking at modding it engine wise down the line, if so how much.

Well im thinking of buying a stainless steel manifold? Not sure if theres one about for rs1800 or not and maybe getting a de-cat pipe to connect to the potential magnex one

3 bits, cat back exhaust, decat pipe then manifold, or does the manifold get rid of cat (n00b :) )

What you think?

also whats tuning like on rs1800s? I know my old si was s**t for tuning so i didnt bother and decided to wait....

You will still need a decat pipe with both the exhaust manifold and exhaust.

As for the tuning side of things, have u read the article on the ft.com mainsite? As is the case for all N/A cars, modding will cost that much more for each bhp should you wish to stay N/A.

I'd say get the exhaust etc but dont begin modding the engine until you've waited to see about the barn etc. :) No need wasting money on mods that you'll have to change again later.

Was gonna go for the 4" system but it looked abit to big. IMO the 3"
suits the standard rear end to a treat.
