Why in God's name would that clutch be a good idea for a car with 105ps. Whenever I've done a 2.0 litre conversion I've bought a £60 Ferodo clutch and plate kit and all of them are still running, one has more than 20000 miles on it and still going strong.

£240 is a little ott for a standard engine isn't it, or am I missing something?

Not on a regular basis, but you could buy four Ferodo clutches for £240.

lol ive just bought a helix clutch omg you wont believe this £350 inc delivery now is that dear or what hahaha... i just need a strong lasting clutch [ERRR] i do alot of street racing with my friends out of public area of course... what's psi mean? i dont understand what that is ? well i went and got my car tested on the rollers today and i really could not believe this but he said its running at 180 bhp.. and all that is done to this is magnex cat back exaust ..... cat bypass...pipercross induction kit..a blackdiamond performance clutch. and superchipped i payed £300 last week for the superchip...i was at the lights last night with a ford escourt cossy and left it standing.. but im guessing if my xr2i 1.8 16v kicked its ass ..his car must be not running right [ERRR] i know they are sick cars...or hes just a bad driver lol.. and does anyone know what the 1.8 16v xr2i zetec's are on standard bhp are they 130bhp or 105 bhp standard?

Mate there's no way a fiesta 1.8 zetec(105bhp) with the mods you have would ever bet a ecort cossy (which are 227bhp) that is bull shi@ ive been into my ford's for over 10 yea'rs and have owned my rs for 6 years and you would beat my car. I cant see your car doing 180bhp even 2.0 zetec is 130bhp with head work cam you could be looking 180bhp. A super chip for a N/A car will give you 3(ish) bhp for the money there a waste of money. Sound like it was a fake cossy

your car 105 bhp top speed 113mph 0-60 8.9 escort cossy 227bhp top speed 144mhp 0-60 5.7

yup thats what i though m8 it must of been a 1.6 coss replica or summin ... but for some reason my car just seems unreal i dont know what has happend to it since i had the chip and exhaust ect ... it just seems to be keeping up with alot of fast cars and beating most cars of stand too.. eg.. golf gti ... raced a subaru last night impretz beat it down a duel carigg... but i came across a rs turbo fiesta the other day and it totally wiped me off the road ripped this car all ova lol....well i dont know about the 180bhp i maybe read the printout wrong... but what makes me think to that it is 180 my mate has got a renault 5 gt turbo standing at 180 bhp and i only just beat him from mark and on straight .... its for sale on ebay now at £450 bid at the moment... but no bull this is keeping up with bm's scooby's ect.. and i know most of em are boyracers lool

ill post the printout on here but ill have to borow my m8's didji cam [ERRR] i dnt know how to work all this out maybe some of u guys can look...

180bhp on a basically standard 1.8 engine.

I wish!!

Mines got rancing manifold, full stainless exhaust, uprated air filer panel and has been rolling roaded at 127.8bhp at the fly.

So is it like 0.2 hp less than stock RS1800 has? You still seem to be very proud of those mods, i wouldn't.

That's not really fair as the RS1800 never actually makes the 130PS it's claimed to. Every one I've seen run up on a decent set of rollers makes between 118 and 124PS always shy of the claimed figures.
