No doubt about this one.
ZETEC69, is da man.
I followed his advice, and its looks great.
Easy to fit (well people told me it was, took me 4 1/2 hours, over two nights)
Ive caught it a few times, but still looks great.
Well worth the £20, much better than the do-doty renault one, that they wanted £57 for.
Go for it.

Minty - sorry mate don't have a part number, I just asked for a Seat Cordoba splitter at the Seat dealer but I think it's off a new model - ask TJ he might know [ERRR] he bought his more recently than me.
Matthew - as mentioned above it's a cordoba item mate, was £20 & TJ might know what year. To fit it you'll need to drill some holes in your front valance(just underneath the front bumper on the flat ridge) then drill matching holes in the splitter. You can use screws to fix it in place or use cable ties as I did [ERRR] then it just pops off if you hit it hard instead of damaging the valance. I was running -35mm springs with 17"s and I only caught it a couple of times - you might catch it a bit more with smaller wheels but if you're careful you should be okay dude.

tJ, CHEERS for the p.no, as for the calipers, I went traditional red in the end and bottled out of doing the m bright green, could try going gold, depends on th colour of your car, but gold does look well good, just not on mallard green, make the alloys looks v.dirty with green cars, or could go silver, yellow, blues (not sure about), or red cos u know what u r in for! cant get splitter for about another million years, got a ltter from my insurers saying I need a cat 2 or I aint covered for theft, so have just shed out £130 for a cobra jobbies, and got it fitted 2day, oh well need to ask for more hours at work, my student overdraft is getting battered, plus mot and service 2morrow, I is gonna have to talk to mr bank manager and ask for another extension on already huge overdraft!

I can't be arsed to go outside and look, so is the Si rear bumper a similar shape and size to the front, ie could you fit the splitter at the back too???
Not really the same shape, as the rear bumper has a flatter middle section, and has no where to attach the splitter too.
But if anyone knows different tell me cos, i was looking to do this aswell.

Probably did see it, but at FF, unless you spend silly amounts of cash on your car it usually goes unnoticed i'm afraid. For every 5 fezzy's that were really nice there was 1 that was absolutely mint, and thats the one everyone remembers.
Back to the bumper thing, anyone know if those corner spats off mk 5/6 escort Si/Gti's will fit the Si back bumpers? Cos if i get 2i skirts + arches, and a seat front splitter, the back bumper won't be at the same level will it? It needs bringing down a bit to follow the same lines.

I think i worded that badly, no offence intended! Not saying your car isn't mint, but if you asked me which fiesta's i remember from FF, i'd say 'The one with the 306 headlights', or 'The one with the mad pink pearl paint job'
You have to do something outrageous to be remembered, which is a shame, cos people can spend loads of time and money on their car, and it'll still be just another averagely mint car.

i agree mate, I was thinkin the same thing about the rear spats but at ford fair on the "mad about wheels stall" there was a rear si bumper and a genuine gti rear spat, i lined it up but it didnt want to go! it prob could be done but only with a lot of filler!

i know what you mean, picture this, i have a standard ford si front with colour coded seat cordoba splitter, rs2000 side skirts, and standard si rear, thats why i was wondering about the gti spats! it looks nice but needs something at the back, i was wondering about a R and A rear difuser but not sure how or where i could mount it? Any one done one? Personaly i do hate cars that are lower round back than front, know what i mean?

Line up the Splitter, then take to it with a hacksaw.
Hack about 4 inches off either side then, line up again, mark where you need to cut to then cut. Keep doing this until you are happy.
Make sure you can still turn your wheels with out them catching?
A few people have drilled the meatl just behind the bumper and screwed it on.
But i just used cable ties through the hole in this metal.
TIP**
On either end, drill in the the plastic arch behind the wheel, then attach a cable tie here. Thus holding the ends in place.

i would cut aprox 3 inch off each side so it dont catdh wheels then start to atatch with cable tyes, screws or bubblegum if you want, but i would work from the centre out, then trim the ends last.
