im looking for something loud but not loud loud, looking for a peco style noise and not a bean can really, looked at mongoose and magnex and other ideas?

Magnex and Mongoose are both superb. Mongoose would be better if you want a bit of noise as I found the Magnex to be pretty quiet

Had a magnex on mine back in the day, looked tidy and wasn't too loud, but had a nice tone when you gave it some beans.

right i have some prices they are both stainless steel from the downpipe back. what do you guys think about the price? anyone got 1 secondhand??

moongoose = 272
magnex is = 280

Try e-bay or the parts for sale section etc... for 2nd hand

I would go for the Magnex

Mongoose arent always made too neat,The one on my cossie looks like someone was drunk when they made it!
