You can get two 500 rms 12" alpines for about £150 from the back of one of the car mags, normaly alot more, - http://www.cel-direct.com/shop1.asp?s_page=subsize.asp this isnt the site, but shows the sub details. its what i'd go for.

Well ive got a boot buil at the minute mdf walls going around the inside of the boot, with a false floor. So all i need to do is replace the infinitys with the new ones. It shouldnt be 2 hard to make the holes bigger for 15" subs though  What subs are your 15" ones mate? And what amp do you use to run them on?

be careful with things that just quote watts, as their rms figures are normaly way behind them, for instance someone tested one othe theloudest.com amp that are available on e-bay and although its suppised to do 3k rms, it failed to do more than 1.4k rms. This was a 6k watt amp.

As for buying the subs off ebay, amke sure you understand what ohm voice coils to go for. If your planning on two subs to be run at 1 ohm through the amp, you want to get the twin 4ohm voice coil moidels, not the twin 2ohm ones or you will be giving the amp 0.5 ohms instead of 1 ohm, which will cause problems.

Another thing, remeber that in that deal (just look in the car mag, such a good deal!) its the new subs selling for basicly £75 each, not taking the free box into account. Also remember that its the new 500rms versions, not the 350rms versions that you are after. The oldeer ones look like they have one big gasket round the sub, where as the newwer ones look like it has two, and looks flatter.

hope this all help, and im not just gioing on!

Hmmm that interesting, I never have understood all that voice coil, ohm jargon. Its alot more complicated than people think to buy a good setup.

Well basicly, with one sub with two 4 ohm voice coils, you can wire it to show 8ohm or 2 ohm to an amp. BAsicly, if in series, the ohms add to each other, in parallel, when the number of coils added doubles, the ohm load halvs (only works if theyr all the same ohm rating). SO 2 4ohm coils gives 2 ohm, 4 4ohm coils give 1 ohm, 8 4 ohm coils will give 0.5 ohm.
