Best suspension setup for 15" wheels???

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Postby zetec69 on Wed Jun 13, 2001 12:45 pm

Can anyone advise me on the best suspension setup? I want it to be rock hard with at least 60mm lowerage. At the moment I've just got -35mm springs on standard shocks but seen as I've got rid of my 17s and am now going for 15s I want a better, lower setup. Don't worry about scrubbage lads [ERRR] the arches are chopped right back anyway from when the 17s were on! Cheers

Can't beat coilovers. Avos or H&R.

Spax used to do the RSX kit which is good, but currently not in production for the Fiesta, while they relaunch the range.

Thing is coilovers will be about £600 so r there any decent shorter shocks that would match some -60mm springs nicely for less money than a coilover kit?????

So how much are something like spax adjustables without the springs? I got quoted £360 for some avo adjustables which I thought was a bit steep. Also who does -60mm or lower lowering springs for a mk.3.5?

I had a look at the H&R website,
and they list two different models for the Fiesta,
one for the fiesta with front stabilisator till 93
and one for the fiesta with front stabilisator till 94

I'm I right in thinking that any coilover for any fiesta from '91 will fit a FRST ?

I highly recommend the Spax PSX kit. It's a 60mm drop with adjustable shocks

I have the PSX kit fitted and it works well with my 15s
