if your keeping it N/A then not much else. some headwork and maybe an over bore but thats about your limit for a naturally aspirated engine. ofcourse there is always the zetec or cvh turbo. or even zetec turbo.

The list is endless but it all depends on how much you want to spend

Normal tuning rules apply air in and gasses out.

Easiest and in the longterm the cheapest would be to dump a 2.0 litre Zetec into the engine bay.

My old 1.6CVH XR2i made a smidge over 130bhp with

Ashley exhaust manifold
Full custom exhaust system
Piper cam
Vernier pully
Ported and polished head (some combustion chamber work)
Chip
Facet fuel pump (not needed but was upgraded when original pump was suspect)
K&N 57i kit

Used to go really well and was only just off the pace of my mates the VTS Paxo
