knuckles :Oranoco :Uprated HT leads are a complete waste of cash, they've been proven time and time again to be no better (usually not as good in fact) as standard Ford kit.
I have to disagree with you there mate.
I went from dodgy grey ford Ht leads to brand new Magnecor 8.5mm race leads and my xr2i responded 100% better. All the jerkiness when changing down gears disappeared. Acceleration was a massive improvement too.
If you change a set of dead standard leads for new of course you will see an improvement for the better. Compare both as new items and they've been tested back to back more times than I've had hot dinners and the stock items always outperform the fancy expensive stuff.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
