I no that this is changing the subject slightly, but with carbs or even tb would the emissions be way over the limit for an MOT. I thought about carbs for my 2i but the hassle of MOT's deterred me. Has any1 on here got a set webbers or throttle bodies, and do they have a struggle gettign the car through an MOT?

think u have 2 get it set up 4 the mot then set back 4 MAX BHP(but thats wot i think)

My mates got some twin 40's on his valver nova and he drove it into your usual local garage place straight after it was rebuilt and was completly mint. The boys in there first laughed at the loud exhaust and when they popped the bonnet were so impressed just looked at it for 2 mins and checked the lights worked, but this was a one off. He later checked the emissions at a later date and they were nearly 5 times over the limit. OUCH. So does any1 know the legality on this?
