Best way to tune a Rs1800 engine??
I have recently fitted a RS1800 engine to my fiesta si using the si wiring loom and a rs 1800 CULT ecu
obviously its a massive improvement to the 1.6 engine but i dont think it cuts it atm.
It has:
Power chip
2.0 mondeo throttle bodie
2.0 Mondeo MAF sensor
Ported + Polished Throttle body
Viper Forced Induction
and the gearbox is a mk5 escort casing with mk3 escort rs 1600i internals and ap clutch.
The car has had all its seats removed and had to sparco carbon fibre seats fitted so its also been on a diet but it isnt fast enough for the track imo
What can i do to it to make it a bit more pokey? id like to see around the 180 bhp mark from it if not i will turbo it.
Any ideas

Re: Best way to tune a Rs1800 engine??
first off get rid off that powerchip absolutly crap!, and get a aftermarket ecu
throttle bodies
fast roads cams
manifold
stainless exhaust system
setup up well this should see you more near the 180bhp mark
