bhp and gearbox

what bhp will a standard good condition frst gearbox give up

im aiming for a reliable 200bhp car so what stage and spec of gearbox would people reccomend

If the box is 100% A1 then it should be ok

CTS say Stage 1 box upto 250bhp, Stage 2 250 to 300bhp, Stage 2+ 300+bhp
Now driving a 1999 Audi S3 with 2.1 20v OD HTAGT3582r Turbo

Bring on the 650+Bhp 4x4 monster

Stage 1 CTS they only recommend to around 200bhp, but they know it'll go a bit past it. Stage 2 is meant to be good to around 300bhp though, yeah :)
