bhp on a budget help please
right i want to increase my bhp as it seruisly wasnt enuff going to to the scarborough cruise when i had to overtake the tractors doing 40 on single lane a roads with motors coming at 70 from the other side with little gaps inbetween, now i know i aing guna get the power my mates jap monster has but on a budget of about 300 quid give or take whats the best way to increase my bhp, i was thinking a chip or cams as my piper cams are old and dont seem to be doing the job, all your advise is appreciated and if i cant get a good bhp then ill be selling to get my cossie / scoobie

Seems very tight on a 2i, cheapest power upgrade I know of would be Nitrous Oxide. But you probably wouldn't get much change to fill your bottle up with £300 even if you installed it yourself? Thats a guess btw never looked at Kit prices, check the guide here.

dont want nos its not woth it i can get that at cost as i advertise for a few companys but i dont think its that safe with my kiddie fingers

Maybe you could go the 2.0L 16V route...
I am sure for 300 sheets you could get the engine and parts needed for hte conversion. Selling all the parts u have at the moment liek the engine, would give you afew extra pennies to spend on stuff like an exhaust ...? or were you looking to keep the 8V setup?

i though about an engine conversion but the cost will sky rocket (cant believe i just said sky rocket) with having to pay to get the engine fitted thats why i though cam or chip, im still toying with going jap and getting this evo or skyline
