CheeRS mate

Any estimates as to what the reading would be at the wheels given its 1.8 16v 85kw 115ps

Always thought it was roughly 25% less at the wheels than at the flywheel? :???:

A very good site for finding out about flywheel figures and 'real' power figures can be found here http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/mainmenu.htm

Ford provide all their power figures as at flywheel power because some engines use different transmission systems etc.

CheeRS lads, for the info.

going on what FlashXR2i said my brothers van is about the same bhp as my escort at the wheels GUTTED. He had his van rolling roaded on thursday night and had 99 bhp at the wheels without the carb being setup properly and mine is 115 bhp @ the flywheel. so they are both about the same though mine is a 1.8 zetec and his is a 1.6 Cvh.

:???:

best start tunning mine then.
