They are the same as the Mondeo V6 calipers so what you need to do is have the backs machined so they fit the mounting bracket, and drill the holes slightly bigger to accept the bigger bolt size.

Once done they fit straight on and make a big improvement in braking power

The threads r on the calipers, not the hubs. You need to drill out the hub holes from 10 to 12 mm (as stated b4, no threads there) and you either need to have the caliper back machined so it sits 3 to 4 mm further in or get a spacer plate to bring out the discs for a similar amount.

what they are trying to say.., in plain english...., if ya dont machine the caliper mounting bracket so it sits further back into the hub then the brake disc will faul the caliper bracket upon fitting and the hub will not turn. not nice :aaah:

Yes I speak from experience having owned and fitted a Fiesta with them, yes the above is the reason

I just assumed you would have a little knowledge on the subject. At least you have your answer now.

I Fitted mine by making up a steel spacers which fiffed in behind the discs, but i had all this planned and bought the correct offset wheels to fit correctly...

i didnt like the ideal of machining the hub tbh

Yeah you machine about 3mm off the caliper. I didnt use Cossie items cos they are about 12 years old at the minimum and spacing them out with washers is a bodge job :P

Plus I got mine of gadget for £150 brand new and pre-machined inc pads and discs. Pads are cheaper and disks are dead easy to get. Bargain

You will find your pedal has a lot more travel after fitting them however

Gadget would've had them machined professionally. I will vouch for that. Can't go wrong with someone who works at Dunton! 8)
