Cossie 4x4 discs are £150 for anything worth having and the pads are £60 for something respectable, don't leave much in the kitty for the calipers but it can be done. Work superbly well:Q

Yeah but IMO its not much of a brake upgrade, same disc size as standard IIRC. As above a set of Cosworth brakes will suit you.

rs2000 is 260 mm disks actually.

but the callipers are harder to find.

i think erst ones are the same, work much beter than standard with xr3i mk5 disks.
but youl find yourself wishing you got cossie ones.

FORD-4-LIFE :will the 300mm discs fit inside a set of 15" rims ????

NOPE!! but they fit perfect behind 16"s and look the nuts! See my RS1800-st170 conversion thread in member's gallery. REALLY easy to fit too - the calipers just bolt straight up to the fiesta hub-carrier (once you've drilled the holes out to 12mm)

280mm ST170 rear brakes go on a treat too but you are best off using a zetec s rear beam and living with your wheels sticking out a bit further due to the wider focus hubs... or just modify a mk3 beam PROPERLY AND SAFELY as i did
