Big f*ckin flat spots

ive got an si & the other day i put me fut down and after 3 & 1/2 thousand or somat like it started kangarooin. its stopped that now but there is big flat spots. im goin changin plugs 2day but dunno if thatll work. me mate said it could be the lambda (or however iots spelt) sensor. Any ideas

rotary arm, leads, plugs, anything ignition me thinks.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Rotary ARM? On a si? mmmmmmm. But as Mik3y says, check all ignition connections. leads plugs, get Cat checked etc.

do u have a performance filter? as the mass air flow sensor can get dirty and cause your problem which you are getting. I know

cheers 4 the help, ive got a drilled airbox so the mass flow sensor might have got dirty, how do i check this?

remove the 2 (i think) torq screws and carefilly pull the sensor out clean if dirty

cheers 4 the help, it turns out it was a combination of the mass flow sensor and the fuel filter, because the car has only done 38000 miles it has never had a major service and the filter was blocked, replaced it and its sound. got me power back :devil:
