Chris 2i :I'd still mistake them for comps

not much difference between them is there?

From what i can tell they say revolution on one of the spokes and the centre cap is different and £75 per wheel cheaper :oooh:

These wheels were from rallyesport uk and they are only stocking these now and would look  in 16" on FRST's

I saw that after you pointed it out, and also the MO's have a lip around the rim. £300 a set cheaper makes it a bit of a no brainer when choosing between the two!

Small update -

The white Revolutions have gone and the standard rims are back on the car, pic update later :D

Manged to get another set of dealer plates made by Ian - kia2000@btinternet.com well worth the £25.00 posted :D

Image

other parts i've purchased are:

Genuine RS500 lower rear spoiler (unsure about fitting) but these just clip on so no permanent installation
Genuine RS500 brand new fog lamp grills (unsure about fitting)
APEX -35mm lowering springs

And i treated myself to this with some of my birthday money of the missus - i'm not really into big stereos and this is good enough for what i need, i think you can plug an ipod in or something

I wouldn't put either the spoiler or grills on if it were mine,

keep it as Mr Ford intended

Black is such a hard colour to keep looking good, best of luck with it :D

Mines garaged mate, i would imaging the premuim would go up massively if on a drive way.

To find a car that doesn't need work your looking at £8500 as a minimum

pm sent mate

I like the standard wheels too but they are very small on the car, so i have my eye on a set of 8x17 Comp CXN so providing they are under a grand i may be persuaded and i'll fit some tyres from work on there

Just got a quote off Reyland for :

Two 7.5x17 for the front
Two 8x17 for the rear

Wheels alone £1540 made to order - £385 per wheel :oooh:

I'll have to think about that hard, and have a good hard look at the overtime board

That is a lot of dollar to spend on wheels, god knows how much tyres will cost on those either even with your discountage... They do look awesome though!

Tyres are only £18 in what ever size as long as we make them at our factory, well we make 15-17" p6000 and i know we make 215/40/17 p zero so i'd just grab some test tyres.

Been changing a few bits over the last couple of weeks trying to get most of the exterior done before the Cumbria show then the engine side of things before the end of May now i've manged to get 650 miles on the new motor.

I was going down the RS500 rep route and purchased a lower rear spoiler and fog grills but that has been scrapped and now the car is being treated to an array of new standard parts including a set of Apex -35mm on Koni struts to replace the standard ride height, wheels & dealership plates added.

Next jobs are get all the plastics repainted, fit the new indicators and lights all round, refit the standard front splitter and side mouldings.

New spotless wheels and tyres added, a snip @ £800 :o :o but worth every penny in my eyes
Image

I think i have found the perfect ride height for this car now and this is how it will stay, it's starting to take shape now and i can see which direction its going :D
