ok now time for an update, i havent really managed to do anythin to my show car but now i can start to get the ball rolling as iv brought a doner car, its a mk 3.5 so i wont have the issue with the petrol cap but also it has a black dash witch will go in also the black carpet, an a few other little bits that are needed, it will also help my track car as i need the loom

Re: black show car!!!!!
If you want a hand getting the rear quater off I'll bring the big grinder round at some point. Carpet won't fit though cos it's a 3.5.

Re: black show car!!!!! UPDATE 17/07/12
ok so today iv bin at the car to rectify a few thngs startin with tryin to get her running, i couldnt work out y the immobiliser wasnt deactivating so i did in the end give up with it, to witch a freind came over scratched his head for a min thn he turned the key an the pump was priming an thn fired into life to witch i flew around the garage like a child with joy, an thn i swapped the rear beam to sort the camber i didnt want, so she has a double anti roll bar on now, so wen the back end was back on the ground i jacked the front up to see [ERRR] is goin wrong there, to witch i found the hub was bent, (wer the track rod end goes) il take a pic tomz,
i no the bracket isnt the best but it does work, il b gettin one made that looks a lot better
thought id take a few pics of the boot, pritty clean
this really p**sed me off, as sum lazy gammon slipper couldnt or wouldnt do the job preperly!!!!!!!!!!!
so like i said il b tacking the front end out, let me know [ERRR] u thnk

Re: black show car!!!!! UPDATE 18/07/12
ok so today i sorted the front end out, the damage was jus the hub,
so i changed thm for rose jointed ones an also put sum lowering arms on too,
im not sure [ERRR] im guna sort out next as i want the paint done but i may get the bay done at the same time so with that i can sort the low oil pressure i have, witch i thnk is either the oil relief valve or due to the dip stick bein really lose

As i posted in another thread: just as good old henry said: Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black.
