Bleed Valves + Fuelling

Postby T2 on Sun Jun 09, 2002 6:27 pm

i've just now fitted a bleed valve under me bonnet which is boosting to 10psi then holding at about 8.
i've read a few posts about fuelling having to be set up on the rollers to stop evrything going Pete Tong :bonkers: . is this right? :-? its got a full Mongoose and Filter and i have read that the engine management sorts all the air/fuel ratio out anyway. who's right??

Cheers Guys

they are such a good place!

went to the rolling road thingy there, they did a speed test on pauls car for free, and he put my car ont he rollers again at the end for a free run to see if it was my air filter that was causing probs, but it wouldnt stay on the rollers lol, at least he tryed :)

one of the customers who come in my shop said it is his brother who runs it. so i'm hoping for a cheaper run :D . i've read some of the old posts and there has been alot of bickering about Bleed Valves and Actuators so i think i'm going to adjust the Actuator so that i'm not fooling the ECU and running weak!!

i'll have it set up as well to make sure everything is sweet though. :Q

It doesnt matter if you use a bleedvalve or actuator you will still need to get the fuelling set-up.
