Hi people!

Right, how much would it be to get a RS body kit fitted and blended in to the body?? The kit is already the same colour of the car so wont need respraying, so basically... fitting and blending then spraying whatevers been blended?? How much? Fiesta boy how about a price? also Zetec69 and any1 else?:grin:

It'll cost a do-doload mate [ERRR] all the arches will need spraying and then most,if not all of the wings/quarters to get a decent colour match. Best thing to do if you're doing a load of body mods is to do it all then get a whole respray, that way the colour match is perfect [ERRR] all the paint is fresh

Ok then, then i might aswell stick with the body kit ive got (i was gonna buy a mercury grey one off kelly, then sell this one!) but if they need respraying anyway theres no point!

So how much for spraying, fitting and blending....?

Bonding the plastic kit on is not the best idea cause after time it will crack.

a fresh lick of mercury grey will cost at least £400, the price will depend on what prep work the car will need really

would it cost less to go for a different colour like black?? or would it be more as it will be a change of colour??
Also what sort of prep work might need doing?

either way, the car will still need to be stripped and primed, so its only the cost of the paint that will change things.

The best thing you can do is use bonding sealer that is flexible, not filler or fibre glass as these can crack, the paint will flex with the movement of the sideskirts and arches and the bonding sealant!!!
